  1. Marissa Garcia says:

Could I just do 2scoops of Vanilla F1 & no protein? I’m asking bc somenof my clients only have the F1 and are not interested in the protein.

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Marissa! Absolutely! If they don’t have the protein, 2 scoops of the Formula 1 works perfectly.

  2. Brenda Z says:

Why do you only suggest one scoop of the Formula 1 and the Protein Mix? The serving size is 2 scoops for each.

    Thank you!

    • admin says:

      Hi Brenda!
With all Herbalife shakes, they are customizable to help ensure you are getting the right amount of protein in each day. 1 scoop of each Formula 1 and Protein Drink Mix will give you a solid 12g protein base, if you are still hungry, add another scoop of Formula 1. If you are still hungry, you can do 2 scoops of each for a total of 24g of protein!

      • Gerad says:

The recipe for the healthy meal is 2 scoops, not 1!! Your clients are selling themselves short and not getting the full nutrition from the products when you instruct them the wrong way.
I am calling this page bogus and therefore will not follow you any longer

        • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Gerad! All of our recipes call for 2 scoops of the Formula 1 and 2 scoops of the Protein Drink Mix. You can see this on all of our shake recipe posts. However, we also believe that what works for one person may not work for everyone, so the serving sizes can be customized. Again, all of our recipes come with the recommended serving sizes from Herbalife, but people are free to customize them as they see fit. We apologize if you took this as recommending less than the standard serving size. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. You are absolutely free to follow us, or not, but I can assure you that this page is not bogus.

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Louise! We have 2 posts that give you some recipes for the Pina Colada Formula 1. They’re mixed in with some recipes for the Wild Berry Formula 1, so just look for Pina Colada Formula 1 in the ingredients. The first post is here – Wild Berry and Pina Colada 1. The other post actually has the recipe for a Pina Colada Shake. It is recipe #9 in this post. Here it is – Wild Berry and Pina Colada 2.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions or if you need anything else. Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Kristin says:

So you are adding 10oz of ice, 10oz of water, and 8oz of soy milk?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Kristin! We like to use 10oz of water/ice together, plus the Formula 1 and Protein Drink Mix and any other ingredients. Not 10oz of water and 10oz of ice separately. And we don’t usually use any milk. You can certainly use milk, if you’d like. Just be careful because it can change the fat content, depending on what you use. But, it’s all based on preference.

Hopefully that helps. Let us know if we can do anything else. Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Teresa Hill says:

I went on the herbalife website the shake
recipe’s do not tell you how much ice or water
    to use.

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Teresa! We suggest about 10 ounces of ice and water for the shakes. It’s best to start there and then adjust one way or another until the shake is to your liking.

If it’s too runny and watery, add more ice to your next shake. If it’s too thick, add some more water. It’s hard to give an exact measurement because the ice that people use can be very different. So, it’s best to just experiment a little bit until you find what works best for you.
