Do you have a recipe for a salted caramel shake?

    • Mike at HerbalDrive says:

Hi Carol! We have a recipe for a salted caramel cookie shake here – it’s #3. If you don’t want the cookie taste, you can just substitute the Cookies ‘n Cream Formula 1 with Vanilla or Chocolate, or whatever you’d like.

Let us know what you think. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Excellent post! I read your blog regularly and you always post great stuff.
I shared this on Facebook and my followers really enjoyed
it. Keep up the good work! 🙂

  3. Brooke says:

So you use 2 scoops from each canister to make these recipes? I was advised by my distributor to used 2 scoops of cookies n cream and 1 of the protein

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Brooke! The recommended serving size from Herbalife is two scoops of the Formula 1 and two scoops of the Protein Drink Mix. However, you can tailor the recipes to your needs. If your diet doesn’t require as much protein, one scoop will work. It shouldn’t change the taste of the recipes much, at all.

Does the oatmeal need to be cooked?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Crystal! The oatmeal does not need to be cooked. We use it straight out of the container and it works great.

Let us know if you need anything. Thanks!

      • crystal says:

Thanks so much! I apologize if that was a silly question, but I’m new to shakes as well and have never mixed anything with them. I tried the birthday cake recipe today, and it was amazing! I can’t wait to try making the oatmeal cookie one tomorrow 🙂

        • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Not silly at all! We’re here to help. Glad you enjoyed the birthday cake shake! Let us know how the oatmeal cookie turns out!

  5. Billiejean says:

Does anyone have a recipe for the Irish dream shake?

  7. Alyssa Hayes says:

Does anyone have a recipe for A sugar cookie herbalife shake ? And also a lemon sugar cookie shake recipe ? Thanks!

    • Kim says:

If you use 2 scoops of cookies and cream formula 1, 1 scoop vanilla protein, and lemon extract it taste just like lemon oreos. So good!

  8. Ashley says:

Hi, if Ionly have the vanilla protein mix and I want to try different recipes that may require the chocolate protein mix. Can I use a alternate protein chocolate mix or should I order the Herbalife chocolate mix?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Ashley! We recommend using the Herbalife protein mix, mostly because we know what’s in it. You can certainly use other protein powders, but it may change the nutritional content of the shake. If you trust the other protein mix, go for it!

  9. Maddison says:

I am new to this whole shake thing, so sorry if I sound a little silly asking this, but do you add some ice cubes or milk to make them cold?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Maddison! You don’t sound silly at all. We’re here to help. We suggest starting with about 10oz of water and ice, or 10 oz of milk and ice. Whether you use milk or water is completely up to you. It doesn’t change the taste too much.

So, put the water or milk and ice in a blender, then add a scoop of the Formula 1 and and a scoop of the Protein Mix, or just 2 scoops of Formula 1 if you don’t have the Protein Mix, and blend them all together. The ice cubes will make it cold, and give it the thicker consistency of a milkshake.

Hopefully that helps. Let us know if you need clarification on anything. Thanks for stopping by!

  10. jeazette torres says:

HOW MUCH MILK OR WATER TO USE FOR THE SHAKES?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Jeazette! Start with about 10oz of water or milk. If the shake is too thick, you can add more water or milk, and if it’s too thin, just use a little less next time. It takes a little trial-and-error to get it perfect.

If I have the vanilla flavored shake mixes, can i put some fat free oreo pudding in to get the same flavor?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Allison! The vanilla Formula 1 with Oreo pudding mix will probably get you a similar flavor to the Cookies ‘n Cream shake mix. It probably won’t be exactly the same, but I’m sure it will still taste very good. Give it a try and let us know how it turns out!

  16. Benetta miller says:

Would like to know the recipe for the cupcakes thank you

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Benetta! Sorry if we kind of mislead you there. The picture for this post was just a picture with a cookie and some cream in it for our Cookies ‘n Cream shake recipes. They’re not actually cupcakes made with Herbalife powder. Sorry about that.

We are looking into some recipes that use the Herbalife powders as part of the recipes for baked goods. When we get everything together we’ll post a few things with those recipes.
