can you tell me how much sugar is in on glass ?

    • Mike at HerbalDrive says:

Hi Arline! It’s tough to give you a definite answer on the amount of sugar per serving because it varies by flavor. When you’re shopping for products, the product details pages have the nutritional info for each of the products. The canisters also come with the nutritional info printed on them. Just be aware that the values you see printed are for those products alone. If you add ingredients like fruits, mixes, syrups, etc., it will change the amount of sugar in that shake.

I am new to all this meal replacement shakes and I intended to buy both, F1 and PDM, to make these recipes but in my country(Portugal) PDM isn’t available and I can’t order it from anywhere either.Do you know anyway I can buy PDM from here? If not,can I use the Personalized Protein Powder(AKA F3 I think) instead of using the PDM? If yes, can you tell me how do I use it in a way the shakes keep having the original flavour(as If PDM was used)?
    Thanks

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Gonçalo! Your Personalized Protein Powder should work. Your best option would be to add some sugar-free pudding mix to compensate for the flavor of the Protein Drink Mix. All of our recipes either use chocolate or vanilla PDM. So, putting in some chocolate or vanilla sugar-free pudding mix should make it taste similar.

  3. Sue says:

Hi- I’m new to HL. I have a few questions I need some help with. You say 1 scoop of formular1 and 1 scoop of protein drink mix, but the recipes all say 2 scoops of each. Some of the recipes say there are 12 grams of protein and some 24. Lastly, are all the recipes with their additives 250 calories, or is that just for the F1, Protein drink, water, and ice basic start which is 250 calories?? Love the shakes so far, great product. Thanks

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

      Hi Sue,

Sorry for the confusion. We used to suggest 1 scoop of Formula 1 and 1 scoop of PDM, but we’ve since changed it to 2 scoops each to make it more of an actual meal replacement in terms of nutrients.

To be clear, each recipe should be 2 scoops of each, which gives you 24 grams of protein and 24 grams of vitamins and minerals. The Formula 1, Protein Drink Mix, ice, and water start at 250 calories. Anything added or substituted will change the nutritional content of the shake, but it is up to the individual regarding how much they add. As long as you put healthy things like fruits into the shakes, you should be fine.

I appreciate you bringing the contradictions to our attention. I went back and tried to make everything the same in all of the posts. Please let me know if you see any more.

  4. Brandon says:

Do you use 2 scoops of each F1 mix and PDM or 1 scoop each? I got confused from the introduction and the recipe. Thanks

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Brandon! It should be 2 scoops of each. Sorry about that! Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I’ll go back and change it to 2 scoops.

      Thanks again!
