  1. Gonçalo says:

I am new to all this meal replacement shakes and I intended to buy both, F1 and PDM, to make these recipes but in my country(Portugal) PDM isn’t available and I can’t order it from anywhere either.Do you know anyway I can buy PDM from here? If not,can I use the Personalized Protein Powder(AKA F3 I think) instead of using the PDM? If yes, can you tell me how do I use it in a way the shakes keep having the original flavour(as If PDM was used)?
    Thanks

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Gonçalo! Your Personalized Protein Powder should work. Your best option would be to add some sugar-free pudding mix to compensate for the flavor of the Protein Drink Mix. All of our recipes either use chocolate or vanilla PDM. So, putting in some chocolate or vanilla sugar-free pudding mix should make it taste similar.

  3. Rosie says:

My step mom only got the French Vanilla F1 Drink mix. Do you half to have the protein drink mix to make the shakes?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Rosie! You don’t need to have the Formula 1 and Protein Drink Mix. If you only have the Formula 1, just put 2 scoops of that in the shake. If you have the PDM, you would use one scoop of Formula 1 and one scoop of the PDM. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Jamie says:

What type of liquid do you mix in with these recipes?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Jamie! Most of the time water is used with the shake recipes. However, some individuals prefer to use milk for the liquid.

      • Tracy says:

How much water or liquid do you use?

        • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Tracy! We suggest using about 10oz of water and ice together. Some people like to use milk, but we suggest water because milk can add to the fat content of the shakes. Water doesn’t add any fat, and it tastes pretty much the same.

Really, how much water you use is a matter of preference. It just takes a little trial-and-error. If the shake is too thick, try adding some more water next time, and if it’s not thick enough, try using a little less.

Hi, If I wanted to use milk, how much should I use?

          • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Gonçalo! Start with about 10 ounces and see if that works for you. If it’s too thick, just add a little more milk until it’s what you want. It’s kind of an inexact science, but we suggest starting with 10 ounces and then adjusting from there.
