  1. Neebra says:

I decided to try to personalized protein powder this time? Do you think that if I used the it instead of the vanilla protein drink mix that it would change the taste a whole lot?

    • Mike at Herbal Drive says:

Hi Neebra! In order to get the maximum health benefits from the shakes, it’s best to use the Formula 1 and Protein Drink Mix. It is perfectly fine to personalize your shakes on top of that by adding fruits, sugar free syrups and powders, etc. But if you use your own protein mix, it will probably change the taste, and depending on what is in your protein mix, it could also change the nutritional values.

Your own protein mix could work fine. But the only guarantee for a good, healthy shake is to use the Herbalife mixes. Give it a shot, experiment, and let us know how it turns out. Thanks!

    • Sheila says:

I think Mike misunderstood you question. The Personalized Protein Powder will change the taste of the shakes if its used as a substitute. It is intended as a supliment to get additional protein in your shakes. Each tablespoon is 5 grams of protein. The Formula One has 15 grams of protein in each serving (2 scoops) and PDM has 9 grams of protein in a serving (again 2 scoops).
